Marc Coma finished the Rally of Morocco
KTM rider completes the test in tenth place after suffering a breakdown in the first stage which left him out of the fight for victory
The sixth and final stage of the Rally of Morocco offered both to pilots and the public an exciting show, with a length of 57 km that have traveled three times. The rapid stretch was entirely on the grounds of the largest studios in Morocco.
In this environment colossal, where legendary films have been shot as "Gladiator" or "The Mummy" has developed the latest stage of the Rally, with three spectacular passes through the section, with a difference of 30 seconds between the start of each pilot and you are done with Marc Coma in fourth position, which has left him in tenth place overall. A spectacular result of receiving a penalty of four hours the first day of trial that put him out of the battle for victory.
Marc Coma: "It was a procedural step. Leaving far behind, with a lot of dust and little difference between each pilot have preferred not to risk. There were too many people and made no sense, as it was very little we could win.
Overall I'm happy with how it went the test after the first day, and we could set a good pace and I managed to win 2 stages while testing different settings for the bike. The failure of the first day was with an outer part, a minor problem that had nothing to do with the overall performance of the bike. Therefore, after the Rally of Morocco we have shown that preparations for the Dakar is very well directed and feelings in general are very positive.
